The Work
PBA-019"The Work" is an ambitious composition featuring electric piano, voice, bass, violas, and Hammond organ. The piece reflects on the call to do God's work — not just in ministry, but in every area of life. It challenges the listener to see their daily labor as sacred.
Colossians 3:23 — "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord"
Inspired by the conviction that all honest work is worship — that the sacred/secular divide is false, and that God calls His people to excellence in every field.
This is a full production piece — the ensemble must be tight. The D major key should ring with confidence. The Hammond organ adds a soulful, gospel quality. Let the groove carry the piece forward. Tempo at 95 BPM.
