Hopeless and In Despair?
PBA-010"Hopeless and In Despair?" is a solo piano composition that speaks without words. The question mark in the title is deliberate — it acknowledges the reality of despair while pointing toward the hope that lies beyond it.
Scripture
Psalm 42:11 — "Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God"
Inspiration
Written during a season of deep reflection — the piece lets the piano carry emotions that words cannot fully express.
Performance Notes
Let the piano breathe. Rubato is welcome — this is an emotional piece, not a metronomic exercise. The C major key brings moments of light into the darker passages.
