Holy
JVA-046"Holy" is a majestic choral setting of the Trisagion — the ancient threefold declaration of God's holiness drawn from Revelation 4:8 and Isaiah 6:3. Armaah's arrangement opens with a rich piano introduction before the voices enter with the iconic "Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty." The piece builds through two sections: the first declaring God's majesty filling heaven and earth, the second affirming God as uniquely holy — "perfect in pow'r, in love and purity." The final section sends all creation's praise across earth, sky, and sea in a powerful, repeating climax.
Dedicated to The Harmonious Quartet, the piece showcases Armaah's ability to craft accessible yet harmonically rich worship music.
Revelation 4:8 — "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come." / Isaiah 6:3 — "The whole earth is full of his glory."
The piano introduction (mm. 1–4) sets the harmonic atmosphere before voices enter at m. 5. The piece has two repeated sections with first and second endings. The final 'All thy works shall praise thy name' section repeats with increasing intensity — build dynamics each time through earth, sky, and sea.
